Terms of Service

Overflow Plumbing Co.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Overflow Plumbing Co. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By requesting services, scheduling work, or using our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Services Provided

Overflow Plumbing Co. provides residential plumbing services including installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of plumbing systems and related components.

All work will be performed in a professional manner and in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards.

Estimates

Estimates provided by Overflow Plumbing Co. are based on the information available at the time of the estimate.

Actual costs may change if:

  • Additional issues are discovered during the work
  • Existing plumbing systems are not up to code
  • Structural conditions prevent proper installation
  • Additional materials or labor become necessary

Customers will be notified and approval obtained before any significant changes to the scope of work.

Estimates are generally valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Payment Terms

Payment is due according to the terms listed on the invoice or estimate.

For most services:

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Overflow Plumbing Co. accepts approved payment methods as listed on the invoice.

Failure to make timely payment may result in:

  • Late fees
  • Collection actions
  • Suspension of future services

Customers are responsible for all reasonable collection costs if payment becomes delinquent.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
  • Ensure that utilities (water, electricity, fuel supply) are accessible when required
  • Secure pets and clear personal belongings from the work area

Overflow Plumbing Co. is not responsible for delays caused by lack of access or unsafe conditions.

Warranty

Overflow Plumbing Co. provides a one-year workmanship warranty on labor for services performed, unless otherwise stated in writing.

This warranty covers defects resulting from the workmanship of our installation or repair.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Manufacturer defects (covered by manufacturer warranty)
  • Pre-existing plumbing conditions
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Damage caused by freezing, corrosion, or water quality
  • Work performed by other contractors

Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period.

Limitation of Liability

Overflow Plumbing Co. shall not be held liable for:

  • Pre-existing plumbing defects
  • Damage caused by hidden conditions or aging plumbing systems
  • Delays caused by material shortages, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed.

Permits and Code Compliance

Where required, work will be performed in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and regulations.

Permit requirements may vary by municipality. If permits are required, they may be obtained by the homeowner or contractor depending on the scope of work and local regulations.
